WORKS

The notion of “poetic forensics,” refers to a non-linear process of investigative practice using artistic and poetic tools. The artworks that stem from such process experiment with performativities, diaristic videos, interviews, primary sources and official documents that I began intuitively implementing since 2010. I do these works through methods of attunement, poetic interventions and decolonizing methodologies. The archived works in this site represent an intersection between interpretive knowledge, experimental-media-art and documentarian forms while navigating through terrains of memories and non-official history to make visible what has been made to disappear, particularly and almost exclusively, from official records on Cold War-era Venezuela.
